The Tennessee State Museum and museum store officially closed its doors to the public at the Polk Center in downtown Nashville on May 6, 2018. The Museum and store will reopen in its brand-new facility on at the northwest corner of Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in October 2018. Keep an eye on this site for information about the opening, and visit TNMuseum2018.org for renderings and other images from the new building. We also recommend you follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for updates about off-site events this summer and the progress of the Museum.

Thank you for visiting us the Polk Center location, where we’ve been since 1981. We hope to see you on the Mall this fall!
